Blender Tool created in Python

Using Python to add a tool:
This is some code we used in a class I’m taking called: Creating Digital Environments, where we create and edit tools using Python in the 3D software, Blender. This class focuses solely on creating and making our own tools for use in Blender with Python. This code adds a tetrahedron mesh to the program and allows that mesh to be inverted at the push of a button.

Scratch Video Game

Video Game made in Scratch:
This was a game I made in my Visualization Programming class using a program called Scratch. The code for the main ball is to the left of the game screen. Every aspect of the game has some code which controls how it acts. The rules for the game are shown in the images included.

Team Project - Geomancy Cliff Dwellers

Geomancy Cliff Dwellers:
This past Fall semester included many team projects, based on the construction of an enormous site for our cliff dwelling tribes. This site was assigned on the very first day of class and we only had 7 days to complete it. It had to measure 7 ft. tall and 15 ft. long, and it was a full class project... of 62 students. On the first day we established a miniature government. There was a leader for each section of the site, one for the north cliff face, for the south cliff face, and for the hoodoos (the weather-eroded structures free standing in the middle). I was the leader of the Hoodoos, and as such, I oversaw the design, structure, materials, texture, and colors of the hoodoos, as well as being in charge of the 20 other people who worked on the hoodoos. Not only did I lead the section and meet with the other leaders, I was also the designer for the structure of the hoodoos. The hoodoos (and cliff faces) had to be lightweight and strong. They had to stand for a long time and be easy to move around the Architecture building complex for display.

The following projects were all built on the site. Project number 2 was a 3 person group project where a house had to be built ONTO the site, and it had to have a design meeting many specifications, as well as being able to stand on its own for months. The third project had a steampunk theme to it, where we were assigned the task of creating a useful steampunk machine for our tribes-people. Lastly we were assigned a month long project where we had to animate our steampunk machines in a 30 second long animation, including image mapping and inclusion of the actual cliffs and hoodoos themselves. This was our first ever attempt at making an animation.

Guessing Game written in C++

Guessing Game:
This game was written in C++ and is a simple guessing game where a number must be guessed between a certain integer range. The number of attempts you are granted is based on a mathematical formula. As you guess you are told whether your guess is too "Hi" or too "Lo", and the remaining attempts.

Physics Simulation Program

Physics Simulation:
Written in C++ with the OpenGL package, this program is a physics simulation of a simple ball bouncing. There are functions such as: Pause, Quit, Start, and Reset. The Coefficient of Restitution and the initial X velocity are set during the execution of the program, through the command line. Once the simulation is running the height of the ledge and the initial X velocity can be changed to test various simulations.
